Description: The firm of Wiliams and Sons was one of Ireland's leading taxidermy exponents and, as might be expected, most of their work featured Irish mammals, birds and fish. This unusual case shows that this was not always so and that the firm was equally adept at dealing with brightly coloured tropical birds that came from various parts of the world. The central figure of this particular case is a small, but spectacular, species of hornbill.
