Description: Rowland Ward (1848-1912) was the most successful of all British taxidermists and developed his own distinctive style of casing ornithological and mammalian specimens. In his early years, however, his style was influenced by that of his father, Henry - and this case shows a beautifully displayed Himalayan Monal belonging to this period of his development.
