Description: Victorian specimen of a baby Gray Woolly Monkey sat on modelled rockwork, under original glass dome. The Gray Woolly Monkey is found in Bolivia, Brazil and Peru and predominantly lives in cloud forest, a type of forest under cloud cover for most of the year. It is now endangered because of a 50% decrease in population over the past 45 years due to deforestation and hunting.

This rare specimen is Victorian and was mounted well before the CITES cut off date of 1947, therefore exempt from licencing wihin Europe due to the antiques derogation act.
