Latin: Numenius Arquata
Size: approx. 53.5cm x 48cm x 14.5cm
William Thomas Cox (1887-1951) followed his father into the taxidermy business which he advertised as having been established in 1850. The firm apparently did some taxidermy work for Queen Victoria and Edward VII. Much of their day to day work concerned the preservation of sporting trophies, and their case label depicts a Fox mask.
