Taxidermy White Pheasant by Hutchinson of Derby
SOLD
Size: approx. 73cm x 60cm x 22cm
Description: This beautiful white variant of the common ring necked pheasant was preserved by Hutchinson of Derby. The work of this nineteenth century taxidermist turns up comparatively rarely which is curious because he was clearly a very talented and competent craftsman. His clever taxidermy is matched by the skill with which his dioramas are produced.
