Description: This Victorian specimen of an interestingly coloured Rabbit is placed in a characteristic by the firm of Jeffries the celebrated Carmarthen taxidermists. The firm Jeffries were initially master carvers and guilders and moved to Wales from London and operated from King Street in Carmarthen. Cases by Thomas Jeffries are distinguishable by the use of Mahogany and English Oak wood frames.
