Description: High quality antique Leopard Skin by celebrated Indian taxidermy company Van Ingen and Van Ingen of Mysore. Some fading and a couple of minor repairs but both skin and felt backing are in generally very good order as can be seen.

Complete with provenance and photographs of the hunter with the animal at the scene, circa 1940. Helping local village folk he killed a Tiger, Leopard and two of it's cubs, one escaped. This seemed to have an effect on the chap as he went on to spend much of his spare time not killing but photographing big cats with a keen interest in their conservation.
